INOVA+ provide support through both innovation and internationalisation, and access financing for technology based organisations to help them grow. In particular, INOVA+ focus on supporting the visibility, market positioning, and customer orientation of start-ups or entrepreneurs at university level, with a vision to promote the transformation of scientific and technological knowledge into innovative projects and viable products on a national and international level.
On active and healthy ageing, INOVA+ is in the process of establishing its own ICT tools to improve the accuracy of skin cancer diagnosis, aid solutions for controlling the spread of diseases, and establish therapy exercise systems for the continuous treatment and rehabilitation of Parkinson sufferers.
What will you be exhibiting?
We will be presenting the Organisational Life Assistant (OLA), a virtual presence that enables older adults to live a more independent, healthier and safer life on a day-to-day basis. It eases the burden of carers and mediates interaction between themselves and their patients to create a more holistic living environment.
What do you hope to take away from the AAL Forum?
INOVA+ are hoping to boost OLA’s market introduction by showcasing a secure and easy-to-use platform that measures and controls older people’s health and wellbeing. By establishing contact with developers, potential users and peers in other technological developments for the ageing population, we hope to receive feedback on the work of OLA and its impact on preventing chronic illnesses, whilst achieving a sense of belonging in the AAL community.
What are you most looking forward to about the forum?
As well as showcasing OLA’s results, we hope to meet people with the same passion for ICT solutions for healthy and active ageing. Being able to check out the latest advances in ICT for the ageing population, create contacts with innovators, and participate in lectures, workshops and other proceedings is also very important to the company. We hope to study new trends and come away with some excellent tips, resolutions, and lessons from other AAL solutions and projects.
