Call for posters: Submit your idea by 17 August

Do you want the chance to present your work to colleagues and investors at the AAL Forum? Submit your idea for a poster by 17 August for the chance to present at one of the biggest events in the field of active and healthy ageing.

This year’s forum will provide you with the chance to present the latest updates and results from your ongoing research and innovation projects to a receptive and knowledgeable audience.

Posters are a creative way to present complex research concepts in an accessible and easily digestible format. Presenting one at the forum is a brilliant way of informing other delegates and stakeholders about how you are helping to change the way older people use technology so they can stay healthy and independent for longer. In previous years, authors have received notable feedback on their posters during and after the event from various stakeholders and end users. It is an excellent way to make your mark at the forum whilst fully immersing yourself in the rest of the event’s workshops, plenary sessions and networking opportunities.

If you are interested in submitting an idea, please bear in mind that your poster will be grouped under one of three topics:

  • Life after AAL – Ensuring AAL solutions get to the market
  • Business to consumer market: The silver economy dimension
  • AAL-related ecosystems

This deadline is not for your final poster, but for you to submit your initial poster plans and ideas. The result of your application will be sent to you via email, when you will also receive guidance for submitting your final poster.

Remember – you must submit your poster electronically at: Call for posters
